  34.     Thank you for using N╡⌐|_e└« pH╬ºH╬°N.  It is my first script
  35.     and I have been working on it since September '96.  I have
  36.         always wanted to release it, but then it would become old news
  37.     too quickly.  But this time I have it ready, it is top of the
  38.     line, and is the first configured for mIRC 5.0. Please read the
  39.     complete setup to make this script work for you.  It is a
  40.     complete War/Protection/Fun/Bot/Utility Script.  I think it is
  41.     more for experts, but this can be used by anyone.

  43. II. What is this thing for?
  44.     For me, this script is just a power trip.  I wanted to be elite
  45.     on irc like everybody else.  I started out with 7th sphere as
  46.     first script.  I thought it couldn't get better than that.  But
  47.     my problem was that I was on the NETCOM private server most of
  48.     the time, so most of the functions did me no good.  And the
  49.     script was not fun at all, so I did something about that too.
  50.     The reason why it took me Seven Months to do this is because
  51.     it took me a long time to learn how to script.  It was the
  52.     remotes that threw me off. :/  But I learned it and I am ready
  53.     to make another script, so look for that one soon. :)

  55. III. Setup
  56.     Make sure you unzip everything into the c:/phish directory.  It 
  57.     is always best to log all your Channels and Queries.  So you
  58.     need to make a directory to make you logs in.  Most likely 
  59.     c:/phish/logs.  For the fileserver (which was made by the
  60.     scripters of 7th sphere) you can use any folder you want to
  61.     serve.  That is in the setup of the fileserver when you load
  62.     it.  Have a directory ready though, such as c:/phish/fileserv.
  63.     Also a receive directory should be made.  This should be 
  64.     c:/phish/download.  That is all you need!  Now just run mIRC!

  68.     6670.  If you can't access this server, then you can e-mail me
  69.     at phishion@juno.com and I will help you with the script.  You
  70.     can also mail me just to let me know you like the script, that
  71.     would always be nice :)

  73. V. Trumpet Setup
  74.     So you want to be elite?  Then you have to be able to nuke.
  75.     That is the way it works.  This is the setup for NETCOM because
  76.     it seems like an obstacle to do set it up with this isp. So

  82.   For starters...never install trumpet while you are on the internet.
  83.   If u have done this...you need to reinstall it again and let it overwrite
  84.   itself. If you have installed it and have changed the winsoc.old file back 
  85.   to winsock.dll...please rename it winsock.old so that it will not interfear
  86.   with Trumpet.  And if you just want to play safe...just reinstall it anyway.

  88.   Here are the thing's you will need to know for using trumpet with Netcom:
  89.   Leave the space called ip address blank.
  90.  
  91.   1: The DNS server(s) is a list of ip's from the server.  Usually six
  92.    different ip's will do.  Here is a list of ip's u can use for it:
  93.    199.182.120.1 199.182.120.2 199.182.120.202 199.182.120.203
  94.    Put a space between th ip's or it will not work!

  96.   2:  The Domain Suffix is: ix.netcom.com
  97.  
  98.   3:  Make sure you select the PPP setting below Domain Suffix and not SLIP

  100.   4:  Leave the Vector, Gateway, and Netmask as zero's

  102.   5:  In Dialer Settings do the following:  Make sure to select the ComPort
  103.     that you're modem is on.  Then set the dialer for Hardware Handshaking. 
  104.     Then select the correct Baud rate for you're modem.  Then make sure of 
  105.     the following setting that are also in Dialer Settings:

  107.         On Line Status Detection=NONE
  108.         AutoMatic Login=No Automatic Login
  109.         Parity and Word Size=Standard SLIP/PPP Settings
  110.  
  111.   6:  After finishing the setup go to the PPP Options...there you must set it
  112.     for: Use Pasword Authentication Protocol (PAP)
  113.     Then where it says Username make sure to put us,ppp,(your username)
  114.     And then enter you're password normally
  115.  
  116.   7:  You're setup is finished but you are not done...you must dial into
  117.     Netcom Manually or Trumpet will not work.  To do this...Find the number
  118.     of your netcom provider in dial-up.  Dail-up can be found in the 
  119.     accesories pop-up of windows95. When you start up Trumpet...go to the 
  120.     Dialer menu and select Manual Login.  You will see a blinking cursor 
  121.     near the bottom of ur screen.  At that cursor you must type
  122.     : atdt (Netcom's number).  Make sure you add one space after the atdt command.
